Five Nickelodeon Theme Songs We Can't Seem To Get Out Of Our Heads

Nickelodeon is celebrating 25 years of animation fun. Bringing you animated series like As Told By Ginger and Rocket Power, the cable network has gone through numerous changes. Before being called Nickelodeon, they were formerly known as Pinwheel.

Here’s FIVE animated Nickelodeon theme songs we randomly happen to hum throughout the day, rain or shine.

Featuring the raspy vocals of Grammy winning artist Macy Gray, the As Told By Ginger theme song is probably one of the most memorable intro songs. “Someone once told me the grass was much greener, on the other side”

Now this is how you rap a kid’s show theme song! Many young fans had a cartoon crush on the main character Danny and we’re not surprised one bit. He had piercing green eyes and white hair – a cosplay fangirl dream.

Sure the show may have been cancelled due to poor ratings but one things for sure: the pop rock inspired theme song is one short catchy jingle. Jenny was, for a shorter term, a kick-ass robot!

Nothing like a cartoon with an urban edge. The theme song, featuring added funky beats, baritone sax and an electric keyboard all made it worthwhile. We also can’t forget the screaming Helga: ARNOLD!

Everyone remembers the Rugrats theme song, but do you remember the All Grown Up! theme? Whatever the case, it’s seen by many as an underrated show that wasn’t half bad.
